Investment portfolio Mercury Capital
In this post I want to write about the investment portfolio of Mercury Capital. What does Mercury Capital do? Where will investments go? Everything will be explained in this post. At last there will be some info if you are interested in becoming an investor.
First, let’s talk investment portfolio. Mercury Capital is a crypto fund. This means investments will go into crypto. But what crypto you might ask? Why is crypto a good investment? Le’s talk about that first. Crypto coins are generally seen as a very risky speculative assets with much upsides, but also a lot of downsides. The largest crypto coin is Bitcoin. Almost everyone knows Bitcoin. Bitcoin can be viewed as digital gold. It’s scarce, it stores value and because it’s the first crypto, it has the largest market cap and people trust it the most.
Now let me introduce something new. Let’s look at crypto coins as companies where the coins act as shares, but also as form of payment. For example, the second largest crypto coin is Ethereum. The Ethereum blockchain generates more than 5 million in revenue each day (Source 1). But nobody uses it really right now. That looks promising! You could view Ethereum as a company with lot’s of room to grow, a growth stock. Everything could be build on Ethereum because of something called smart-contracts. These are pieces of code that live on the blockchain. They could lead exchanges of value beteween multiple parties. Because the pieces of code cannot be changed, this exchange would be fair and trusted. Many crypto coins have some kind of use case. Some crypto coins are build on top of Ethereum and deliver lower fees on transactions because they group them together. For example Polygon is one of these blockchains. This could be useful for smaller transactions. Some blockchains are specialised for providing cloud storage. These are the Filecoin and Storj. I could go on like this for some time, but let’s move on to the investment portfolio of Mercury Capital.
Below is the investment portfolio in detail. With the symbols of the crypto coins that are traded. For example ETH is the ticker symbol of Ethereum.
These coins are traded with proprietary trading algorithms. These trades are done programmatically with an trading API. This means a software connection to the exchange.
Let’s talk about becoming an investor. To invest, head over to http://mrcry.capital/signup. Verify your account with your identity information. If successful, create a deposit with investment amount. Please be aware that the fund is not open to small investments. With clients required to have deposited a minimum of 50000 EUR. For small investors, download the BOTS app and look for PumpItUp bots. I hope this gives some information for the curious ones :)
